Appranix now supports the protection of TCP, UDP Loadbalancer services provided by Google Cloud Platform.


Follow the below steps to select and start protecting the TCP and UDP Loadbalancer services.


 1. Select the GCP Load balancer service by following the below steps. 

  • Navigate to "Cloud Connections" and click "Add Cloud Connection"

  • Fill the Name & the Description for the connection, choose GCP as the cloud provider

  • Select protection and recovery regions

  • Enable the services required. 

  • Select the Load balancer (TCP/UDP) Loadbalancer services






2. The below screen shows the Loadbalancer services support that is newly added.  


3. Discovered resources are displayed in the Cloud Connection summary page.


4. Click the TCP load balancer in the Discovered Cloud Resource list. TCP load balancer list is shown on the side card.


5. Click the TCP load balancer and it will show more details about that load balancer.


6. Click the UDP load balancer in the Discovered Cloud Resource list. UDP load balancer list is shown on the side card


7. Click the UDP load balancer item and it will show more details about that load balancer.


8. Select the Cloud Assemblies and Click on the Resource tab, Load balancer resource is available in the list page.

10.  Select the Cloud Assemblies and Click on the Timeline, the protected cloud services resources are available in the Protection Timeline detail page as well as in the Recovery Details.
