Isolated Network Recovery Option for AWS
We are thrilled to introduce a powerful new feature that enhances your recovery capabilities and ensures a seamless application restoration process. With Isolated Network Recovery, Appranix empowers you to bring up your entire Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and associated resources, such as EC2 instances, load balancers, and more, while isolating network connections. This feature ensures that your inter-VPC traffic connections remain unaffected. Isolated Network Recovery ensures efficient restoration and proper isolation of your applications without impacting your primary workloads.
The key aspect Appranix addresses to achieve isolated recovery is through VPC security groups. Appranix removes any security groups that allow outbound traffic and removes security groups that enable VPC resources to connect to the internet during isolated recovery. Only precreated rules specifically created for inter-VPC connections will be retained. This approach guarantees that your recovered environment runs successfully without affecting any of your primary workloads.
